The Valiant Wrestling Coalition, once a company with lots of money has gone belly up and near bankrupt. After leaving New York City and selling the property the VWC now showcases it's innovative wrestling style in High School gyms and college auditoriums on a weekly schedule. Normally selling out at a maximum of around 1500 the VWC has a small cult following and hopes to grow with time. The VWC showcases "house shows" on a weekly basis, and every fifth week there is a supercard held in a College Level auditorium.

VWC | KAYFABE
In this created universe that vWc exists in, professional wrestling is a real combat sport, it's a circa '97 ECW crossed with NXT. Therefore, vWc will approach this like any other sports entity, its priorities is: profit, safety, and entertaining the fans.
Promotion Size:
vWc will not be well known outside of New York and Texas. Furthermore, vWc would be more appreciated by more hardcore fans of the sports. vWc would probably never be mentioned in passing on Sports News Outlets, but word of mouth and the internet are it's greatest forms of promotion. The events they host attract around anywhere from 5 to 1,500 fans thus the smaller venues. For all intents and purposes, please consider vWc as a indy promotion. We do not use pyrotechnics unless it is a supercard event.
Character Persuasion:
Character Persuasion will be more seen as an overarching umbrella of likeminded individuals. General rule of thumbs, all faces generally get along with each other and all heels generally get along with each other. Obviously, there are exceptions but it would hurt a face’s reputation if they’re publicly socializing with a hated heel. Please remember that your roles in storylines and matches will be dictated by your character persuation Furthermore, if there is a very lopsided face to heel ratio, the minority will probably find themselves more opportunities.
Twitter:
Any comments deemed detrimental to the promotion and the integrity of the sport will result in fines. Twitter is a good way to promote your wrestler, yourself, and have a little fun. However, I've seen twitter abused. Please remember that your wrestlers are probably going to be constantly training for the next match, shouldn't be spending their whole lives on social media.
Salary:
Wrestlers are contracted per supercard cycle. They get a small check for each public appearance, a purse spilt between winner and loser, and an exclusivity bonus for every supershow cycle. Most other income would come from sponsorships (local commercials and logos on ring attire) and the like. Overall, majority of the wrestlers on the roster would not probably be hurting, but they would probably not be living comfortably either.
L.O.A/Injuries:
Any leave of absences by the handler might be written out as major injuries or serious suspensions. Every show will have an injury report, detailing minor injuries that each wrestlers sustained during the course of their matches or show. Sometimes injuries will be a little more severe that might explain an absence for the next card.
On-Camera/Off-Camera:
All things are fair in love and war, and also in vWc. However, that comes with a big warning. If it doesn’t make sense that you would know the finer details of someone’s personal life, then it will hurt you and you will simply come off as a stalker. Vagueness and subtly is key when mentioning what would be considered an ‘inside-glimpse’ in your opponent’s life. But also, remember, people talk, vWc proceedings.
Championships:
The vWc hosts two(2) single's competition championships, the vWc Valiant Championship and the vWc Heritage Cup Series. The vWc Valiant Championship is aimed at and intended for the best in the business. Holding it elevates you to the top of the promotion and means you are the prime representative of the vWc. Despite there being weight classes there are no weight limitations and anyone may compete for this championship. The vWc Heritage Cup is a stand alone tier championship and has a weightclass limitation. Anyone weighing under 210 lbs. may compete for this championship. The Heritage Cup Series is won by a series of matches decided by the Bookie.

Gender: Both genders are accepted.
Character Cap: Each handler is allowed a maximum of two(2) characters: one primary character and one secondary character. Primary Characters will take priority in number of appearances, bigger story-lines, and title opportunities.
Secondary Characters will be booked semi-regularly, featured in smaller storylines and will have limited title opportunities. Every PPV cycle, the designation can be switched between characters as long as the ratio is maintained.
Secondary Characters will be booked semi-regularly, featured in smaller storylines and will have limited title opportunities. Every PPV cycle, the designation can be switched between characters as long as the ratio is maintained.
Theme Song: Every wrestler is required to have a theme song for their entrance. Once selected, a handler may only change his theme song once per 6 months. If a particular theme song has been held onto by a wrestler fo ra year, that song will forever be retired, only usable by the particular individual.
Pic Base: Every wrestler is required to have a visual representation of their character. Once selected, a handler may only change his pic base once every 6 months. If a particular pic base has been used for longer than, that pic base will forever be retired, only usable by that particular individual. If a wrestler changes pic bases after two years, only his latest pic base will be retired. Managers' and valets' pic bases can be reserved as well, but they will never become exclusive to their characters. All other characters (especially those off-air) cannot have pic bases reserved.
Age: All new wrestlers must fall between the ages of eighteen and fifty-two.
Weight Classes: Although competition is open to all weight classes, the company will still organize competitors by weight classes. The vWc promotes a Heavyweight Champion and a Vintage Cup Champion, which is a weight limit division.
Vintage Cup Division Under 210 lbs.
Heavyweight Division: Over 210 lbs.
Finishers: All wrestlers will be able to reserve one move as their primary finisher. This single move will become exclusive to that wrestler during the course of their tenure. This should be your wrestler's trademark move, designed to finish matches. Variations of reserved finishers are allowed within reason. Once selected, a finisher may only be changed once per year. Exclusion only counts for the respective gender of the wrestler, there fore an Iron Maiden and a Male Wrestler can have the same finishing move.
Signature Moves: Every wrestler is limited to three signature moves. While there is no exclusivity granted to these moves, they will be used as the calling cards of wrestlers, seen in majority of their matches, and on occasion, effective enough to finish matches. More often than not, these moves will set up for the match's finale.
Experience: Any experience is allowed at this point. However, lower the experience, the more prone to mistakes and errors on the part of the wrestler for realism’s sake. At the very least, vWc requires some formal training prior to competition.
Entrances: Please keep your entrances to under 400 words. Please refer to kayfabe section when creating entrances.
Permission of Use: By joining this site, you give the management full creative control over your wrestler (in our imaginary universe). They will forever be able to be mentioned or referenced to as part of canon. But to ensure fair practice, If handler quits the site or drops the character, the character will not become inactive until the end of the current PPV cycle. This is rule will only be enforced to clean up storylines, no unnecessary booking will be done.

Anti-Insulting/Flaming/Etc- Obviously these acts of hostility is prohibited on here boards. Bottom line, respect others on here. Don't attack them personally, definitely don't because they don't share the same opinions as you. Sometimes we get frustrated, I get it, but keep you temper and ego in check and there won't be any issues.
Volunteerism- I'm going to ask for help on a regular basis, and I hope people will step up and aid me on this site. Mainly it's going to be writing a match or keeping a certain section updated. I do take in account of your contributions when determining pushes and title shots. It might not be the most weighted factor in determination, but I do keep it in the back of my mind.
Anti-Spam- It's annoying seeing people post OOC comments on IC threads, or reply to a thread either trolling or adding nothing. Please don't bother posting in serious threads unless you have something to add. Also do not advertise another site on this forum without my permission.
Complaints/Feedback/Frustration- Everyone gets frustrated, upset, when playing a game, especially when things don't exactly go your way and you invested a lot of time and effort. That's the nature of the beast we called e-wrestling. However, that doesn't mean you can air your dirty laundry on the forums. If you have an issue, you're upset, bring it up to a staff member in PM and we will address your complaint or issue. Remember to be respectful in doing so, because we will probably respond according to the fashion we are approached. Feedback is always available from us, we won't conceal judging reasons from anyone. At the end of the day though, if you decide to lash out at us publicly, you won't last very long on this site.
Promotion of vWc- We hope that everyone who joins will consider the Vintage Wrestling Club as their new home, and thus they go about promoting the fed in the proper fashion of course. This includes using twitter and simply asking some of your close friends who is currently elsewhere.
Most Important Rule Ever - I really want to people to consider this fed, their fed, not my fed. While I might be the man at top of the pyramid, how impressive that pyramid is determined by who build up its base. I've seen too many times that a owner and staff are left out to dry and too many times players are not involved in the actual operation side. While I will always try to make everything work for you guys, all I ask that you would do the same.

ROLE-PLAY | GRADING RUBRIC
1. Mechanics/Company Relevance(50 pts)
How well does your role-play relate to the company or to your match/angle or storyline. This will mainly be, grammar, spelling, punctuation, things of that nature. How well is it written, how well was the overall story told. Also, if you have injuries during an event we like to see the continuity into the next role-play, your character should have bandages, a limp, SOMETHING. Here, I will look at your character OUTSIDE of wrestling. I want to see if you can portray your character is a dimensional member of the human species. This can be wrestling related, but your shoot WILL NOT be considered here.
2. Entertainment Factor(25 pts)
Jesus Christ....just don't bore us to death. How creatively written is your overall role-play? Does it start at the end and take us back to the beginning? Does it start in the middle? Does it have an open ending? Things of this are what we take into account. How creatively can you deliver your story and or get your message or point across.
3.The Shoot(25 Pts)
The rant... the trash talk... how well do you let your opponent know they are in for the fight of their lives? This is a simple category, but it is a crucial one. I will be reading to determine whether the dialogue in a piece is natural and meaningful. I will be judging your main dialogue and your shoot SEPARATELY. This will be for interactions between the characters within the roleplay or instances where a character speaks to him or herself.
